Happy Halloween!

I can't believe it has come and gone already! We had a lot of stuff going on this year. Kenzie was involved in a spooky dance at school with all the other deaf and hard-of-hearing kiddos. They did a dance to Thriller, using zombie costumes and black lights. The high school DHH kids came out as well and helped put on quite a show. My kinder class did a little poem/skit for intermission. It was a lot of fun, we had to perform it on Friday 6 times, so all the grades could watch. The kids enjoyed their school character parade and Fall Festival on Friday night. We went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Kenzie was Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ, and Skyler was a pirate and then had a last minute costume change into Harry Potter. Kenzie and Skyler were racing to the car on the way to the Trunk-or-Treat and Skyler accidentally pushed her and she did a massive face plant onto the road, she was pretty upset for about 45 minutes, she skinned her knee and got a nice shiner, so we had a rough start to our Halloween festivities, but all in all, it ended up being a nice night. Once we got home and got the kids to bed, Jeremy and I snuggled up and watched scary movies, which was so fun, but I paid the price with nightmares all night. I am such a big chicken! Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Cute pictures! Happy to see you are all doing well!

Sorry about Kenzie's "massive face plant"! I'm glad she recovered!

I'm a chicken when it comes to scarey movies.

You are great with kids! What lucky Kindergarten kids!

Have a good week!

It is fun to see your kids all dressed up here.

We have had those last minute costume changes sometimes. It is good to have a few things on hand. I think Riley was about four different things last year!
